Use of the site

After adding products to your cart, you will be able to add a promo code at this step.

It is currently not possible to leave a project from within the site interface. Please contact us so we can assist you.

No, there is currently no mobile app.

In contrast, Symfuse's website has been adapted to be best used on mobile. However, it is more convenient to design your pages on a computer.

Prices

When creating a project, you can choose between two types of payment:
- The collaborative payment where each participant pays for their pages
- The one-off payment where the project organizer pays for the entire first copy and participants do not pay for their pages.

The price is 5€ to create up to 2 pages and 10€ to create up to 5 pages. If you only put one page in your cart, a second prepaid page will be automatically added to your account after payment if you wish to complete it later.

Yes, you can pay for someone else's pages on a public project.

Go to the "Members" tab. In the "Action" column, click on the book image to see the member's pages. Click on a page and then "Add to Cart". You will then be able to proceed to checkout the page as if it were your own.

No, participation in a project is not refundable.

Collaborative payment of the book: Delivery is free for the main order of a hardcover project. Delivery is charged for softcover books under 22 pages and additional copies.
One-off payment of the book: Delivery is chargeable.

Orders

Yes, once the book is waiting to be printed you can purchase additional copies of the book. Members can also purchase copies of the book by attaching them to the main order or having them delivered to a different address. To do this, go to the "My Orders" tab in the project and add the number of copies you want to your cart.

Yes, you will be able to go to the "My Orders" section of a project you are participating in to purchase additional copies even after it has ended.

Once the order is validated and sent to print, it cannot be cancelled.

You can change the shipping address of an order as long as it has not yet been processed by our printer.

To do so, go to the "My Orders" tab of the project. Click on the "Detail" button for your order. This will allow you to change the shipping address if the order status is not "In Progress."

Once the order is validated, it is processed within 3 business days by our printer. Delivery then takes about 4 business days. Therefore, it takes 7 business days to receive your order.

As a project creator

Yes, you can give special permissions (validate pages, create the cover, etc.) to certain members.

To do this, click on the "Members" tab in your project and then on the ️ icon to the right of a member.

Yes, once paid each page is subject to your validation.

Go to the "Pages to validate" tab which will appear if there are any pages awaiting validation. If you reject a page, the owner will be notified and can edit it before resubmitting.

Yes, you can change the order of the pages in the "Order Pages" tab that will appear once a page has been paid and validated.

In a public project, all members can view other members' pages and the final book. In a private project, only the project organizer and the members he or she has authorized can view other members' pages.

A minimum of 8 pages is required to print a book in stapled cover and 22 pages in hardcover.

When your project has reached the minimum of 8 validated pages for printing, you can use the "Finish the project" button at the top right of your project. If the book has less than 22 pages, it will be printed with in stapled format as it is not possible to bind a book with less than 22 pages.

The size of the book depends on the number of pages.

From 8 to 21 pages, the book will be printed in a stapled format with a cover thicker than the pages. Beyond 22 pages, the book will be printed in hardback format (similar to a comic book).

In all cases, the book has a final size of 20cm x 20cm and is printed with glossy photo paper.
